Honolulu Police Department Booking Records

The Honolulu Police Department is the main source of arrest records in Honolulu County. HPD covers the entire island of Oahu and runs the cellblock at Alapai Headquarters. The Central Receiving Division processes every adult arrest brought into HPD custody.

HPD posts adult Daily Arrest Logs to its website in 6-hour blocks. The logs cover all of Oahu, including the City and County of Honolulu. They include the arrestee's full name and any known alias, age, sex, race, charges, arrest report number, time of release, and the location of the arrest.

Honolulu County Recent Bookings daily arrest logs

Logs roll off the website 14 days after they are posted. Save or print what you need right away. The logs do not include federal arrests or military arrests on base.

To find an arrest in the daily logs, you generally need:

  • The name of the person, with any known alias
  • The date of the arrest
  • An idea of the time block (logs cover 6-hour spans)

The arrest log is not a full police report. It does not include the affidavit of probable cause or witness info. For those, you have to file a report request with HPD. Fees run $0.50 for the first page and $0.25 for each added page.

First Circuit Court Records for Honolulu County

The First Circuit Court handles felony cases from Honolulu County arrests. The District Court at Kauikeaouli Hale handles misdemeanors and traffic. Both courts feed into the public eCourt Kokua portal.
